A PAINTER.

Throughout my artistic journey, especially during my time as a full-time art student, I have narrowed my focus to two primary subjects: mythical creatures and abstraction. These are continuously evolving series for me. I have always been fascinated by mythical creatures and aspire to develop my own series of characters. I believe that my interest in these beings will help guide my ongoing efforts to improve my understanding of color theory and human anatomy.

Abstraction is a newer focus for me, where I am also emphasizing a deeper comprehension of color theory. I aim to enhance my ability to match and create specific colors, which will have a significant impact on my paintings.

I began creating art at the age of five. My artistic journey is simple: art connects me to the world.

ABOUT ME.

Cameron is an undergraduate student at Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) based in Savannah, Georgia. While born a true New Yorker, Cameron grew up in the lovely state of Connecticut since age five. She followed her passion to draw and paint leading her to SCAD where she immersed herself in her passion and expertise.

It was as early as kindergarten that Cameron picked up any instrument to draw - pencil, pen or paint brush, and her world became her canvas. Reflecting back in her younger years, it was mostly the foundation of nature that inspired her. She describers herself as slightly obsessed for years with drawing eyes. “It was a window into the soul of others,” she comments.

Cameron describes, “the action of painting and drawing is like therapy to me, it’s an extension from mind to canvas.”
